General information, not advice

Our features, planners and calculators provide general information about running and funding a business in New Zealand. They don't take your circumstances into account and aren't financial, tax, employment or legal advice. Tool results are planning estimates, not offers or approvals. Tax figures and due dates should be confirmed with Inland Revenue or your accountant.

Enquiries and applications

An enquiry is not an application: it commits you to nothing and involves no credit check. Any funding is subject to the lender's own checks, terms, conditions and fees. Interest rates aren't published here, because each business loan is priced on its own facts.

Business purposes only

We help with finance for business purposes. Consumer lending for personal, household or domestic purposes is outside what we do.

Accuracy and outside links

We try hard to keep every page accurate, but tax thresholds, due dates and lender criteria move. Where we link to another site, including Inland Revenue and other government pages, it's for your convenience and we can't vouch for its content.

Intellectual property

The content here belongs to us or is used with permission. You're welcome to link to pages and quote short extracts with credit; please don't copy or republish whole pages.

To the extent the law permits, we accept no liability for loss that comes from relying on the general information here. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.
